Home Town Helpers does not transport clients. Not to the doctor, not to church, not around the corner. This is our own decision rather than something Ohio requires, and we’d rather be plain about it than have you find out on a morning when you needed a ride.

Here’s the part we can help with. Booking a ride is often the hard bit — the phone tree, the two-week notice, remembering to call at all. We’ll sit down and make the call with you, get it on your calendar, remind you the day before, have you ready by the door when it pulls up, and be there when you get home. That is squarely inside what we do.

There is a real, legal line between concierge help and licensed care, and we hold it firmly. Nothing on the services list above involves touching a person’s body, handling their medication, or handling their money.
If your family needs bathing help, transfers, wound care, medication management or nursing, you need a licensed provider — and we will happily tell you that in the first conversation and point you toward good local options. We would rather send you to the right place than take work we shouldn’t.
