Pricing

Published rates, because guessing is stressful

No estimates you have to call for. No contracts, no minimum commitment, no registration fee. One hour minimum per visit, billed in 15-minute increments after that.

One rate. Every service.

Pay as you go. Book one visit or twenty — the rate never changes, and it doesn’t matter what we do while we’re there.

$32 per hour

One-hour minimum per visit, then billed in 15-minute increments. Effective 2026.

What that hour can be spent on

  • Companionship & wellness visits
  • Errands, shopping & the pharmacy run
  • Housekeeping, laundry & meal prep
  • Organizing, decluttering & paperwork
  • Home refresh & seasonal décor
  • Technology help — phones, tablets, video calls

Mix and match inside a single visit. Groceries and a load of laundry and twenty minutes getting the tablet working again is still just one hour at one rate.

We chose a flat rate on purpose. Tiered pricing means somebody has to decide which category your afternoon fell into, and that somebody is always the one sending the bill.

Paying for it

How billing works

  • Invoiced twice a monthPay by check, card, or bank transfer. Package plans are billed on the 1st.
  • Private pay only, for nowWe are not a Medicaid, Medicare, PASSPORT or MyCare Ohio provider. Some long-term care insurance policies reimburse non-medical companion services — we’ll give you itemized invoices to submit.
  • Families can be billed directlyAdult children out of state frequently pay the invoice while a parent receives the visits. Just tell us who to send it to.
  • Never our helper’s handsHelpers never collect payment, hold cash, or accept tips or gifts. All money goes through the office.
On a tight fixed income? Tell us. The Lorain County Office on Aging and the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging administer programs that may cover some services at little or no cost, and we’ll walk you through who to call — even if it means you don’t hire us.
